| Google AdSense |
This is an act like the FTC that requires Google to tell us if our sites are compatible.
Although this law only applies if you receive traffic from California, USA, but you do not know if visitors can come from there in the near future. So everyone should fix this.
How to do?
1. Log in to your Google AdSense dashboard. You will see a notification icon in the upper right corner. Click there. You will see there is a Take Action button below the above mentioned act. Click there.
2. A box called Restricted data processing will appear on the new page where you will find two options. One is Don't restrict data processing and the other is Restrict data processing. We will save the page by clicking on the radio button of Restrict data processing.
3. On your Privacy Policy page, we do not sell personal information. You can mansion this line.
This means that Google will automatically show restricted ads to traffickers living in California. AdSense 's default interest based ad or demographic-targeted based ad will not show them. Just do a contextual ad show.
